The Illuminated Man 

The Illuminated Man is an illuminated puppet I designed and made for the fire show of Oxford Dance Camp. He was build as part of workshops I ran at the camp. He has a bamboo frame and a willow structure, with tissue skin and then decorated with real oak and ivy leaves. 

Since then He has Appeared as part of the Parade in Nottingham Light Night.

I wanted to use as Eco friendly materials as possible, therefore I used natural fibre materials and found materials where ever possible.
